I have been blogging for a while now - sometimes using thoughts of the day, prayers, devotions (from my journaling) updates on events such as Katrina and my weekly updates on the Lompoc Foursquare Church website. My purpose - with a growing church, I want to use technology to our advantage and communicate in as many ways as possible and I love to write and desire to enhance my writing skills. The other main key was to allow people of LFC and my friends outside the church to respond to my blog entries. So here is my question - are you reading the blog, checking the blog or responding to the blog. I want to know if you read this thing - also I want your ideas for some more specific blogs....we already have www.lfcdcat.blogspot.com where we listed many of the issues facing our Doing Church as a Team and the gleanings from meetings with Core and Ministry Team leaders at LFC. We will also list the Cultural Values there from our last Team LFC meeting and allow places for those not present at the meeting to speak into the process of our fact finding - we really want to see how YOU are defining the current culture at LFC and what you found missing. We will alert all team members when these have been posted.
